British Wallis

British Wallis tractors were built by Ruston & Hornsby of Lincoln under license from the J.I. Case Plow Works, Racine, Wisconsin, and featured the same “unit-frame” chassis as the US-built Wallis. However, Ruston & Hornsby opted to use its own four-cylinder 28 hp vertical engine, which could run on both petrol and paraffin. The British Wallis took first place in its class at the Lincoln Tractor Trials in 1920, and Ruston & Hornsby produced it for the next decade or so, during which time many were shipped to Australia and New Zealand.
